Obviously no one is interested in this board...but I still want to read Deleuze....is anybody interested in reading one of his texts (Dialogues, Negotiations, Bergsonism, etc.) one on one?

We've got off to a slow start, but I hope I'm not the only one who'd like to continue with Difference and Repetition.

I'm with you, I think DR is definitely worth close reading, it's not an easy one, even Deleuze himself later admitted that it's maybe too heavy, too academic, but then what's the point in having a reading group if not for helping with a difficult text? I see DR as a key book for anyone interested in reading Deleuze. I think it's just difficulties of the begining, nobody wants to post first or maybe people are just waiting for someone to lead the group. As for myself I'll definitely be here with my little contribution and I hope in two weeks I'll also have more time for reading. Harald Wenk from lists.driftline.org/listinfo.cgi/deleuze-guattari-driftline.org was looking for a DR reading group a few days ago and posted something on the opening pages of DR, so maybe people there didn't noticed this forum yet, maybe some ad there would help.

Yes, I am here too. It is slow reading though, I'm about halfway through the first chapter, then got sidetracked and went off to read Plato's Sophist and some of the Nietzsche references for background. I wasn't discouraged by the lack of activity here, I figured the process would be glacial.
